Female Friendly
If you are honest, to begin with, you do not have to be a "certified" Female Friendly shop.
It is our responsibility to inform our Female Motorists, and every one of their vehicle's needs, as well as provide an education you may need to make informed decisions as to your vehicle's maintenance and repair.
A & R German Motors feels an auto repair shop should have - honesty, integrity and a willingness for open communication with "everyone".
Female Motorists, Let's Talk!
We emphasize the importance of communication when it comes to auto repairs. We love getting to know our customers and talking to them about their German vehicles. The better we get to know you and your car, the better we can do our job and our goal is always to do the best job we can!
Communicate your findings!
Be prepared to describe your cars symptoms, you drive it day in and day out, you know what "normal" feels like in your own vehicle better than anyone else.
So be on the alert for anything unusual, such as:
Unusual sounds, vibrations, odors, drips, leaks, smoke, warning lights, gauge readings.
Changes in acceleration, engine performance, gas mileage, fluid levels.
Problems in handling, braking or steering.
If you notice a problem it is helpful to note (write down) the following:
When the problem occurs.
If it is constant or periodic.
Does it occur when the vehicle is cold or after the engine has warmed up?
Does it happen at all speeds?
Only under acceleration?
During braking?
When shifting?
When did the problem first start?
As much as we would like to, please do not expect us to make an on-the-spot diagnosis. German Vehicles are very complex and usually require time and testing to accurately diagnose even seemingly simple problems.
At A & R German Motors, we always call our customers once we have a diagnosis, with a recommended course of action, and estimate.
We will not move forward without your permission.
