After using another German sports car repair in MB for 3+yrs I switched to A&R on a recommendation. WOW what a difference. No gauged prices, and they're actually honest (i.e.: y"ou will need to do the brake pads soon , but lets wait till the light comes on to save you some money today" ) They're prompt and timely and always wash the car too - I can not believe the difference ....

Found A&R online and impressed by the other reviews so I stopped in a few months ago to ask some q's. Allen was professional, quoted prices without hesitation and discussed the pros/cons of extended warranty (which I was considering at the time). Recently returned for an oilchange and troubleshoot a sunroof that wouldn't close. In/out in a few hours and found the sunroof problem with the least expense. Very fair and highly recommended.

I found A & R on a Google search for Mercedes mechanics near Manhattan Beach. I was very lucky to find them as it turned out. I took my 2014 E 350 Cabriolet to them because the driver's seat adjustment was not operating properly. Ralph waited on me when I got there. I told him what was wrong and expected him to say I had to bring it back and leave it for the day. Instead he said he could fix it while I waited which he did. The best news is he didn't charge me anything. I couldn't get over how professional and knowledgeable he was and also how very nice he was. I recently had a very bad experience with a mechanic in the area so I will definitely go back to A & R for all future work on my Mercedes. I will also tell my friends who have Mercedes' and BMW's to be sure to take their cars to Ralph!!!

I took my car in for just and oil change and decided it was best to wait for the car about 45 minutes. They said no problem. One of the mechanics got to it right away and even fix the passenger seat belt that dealer could figure out that it was twisted. I asked him why the service advisor at the South Bay dealership was not able to figure this out and he told me that they don't have the right training. They are advisors, but not true mechanics. I even contacted BMW corporate about the problem with the seat belt and they would do nothing for me even though it was under warranty. I even spoke with the owners wife and she had her most trusted advisor look at it and he could not diagnosis the problem. They thought it was the material used on the entry level X-1, but that was no the case. This problem damaged about 18 expensive tops that my wife had bought and put tiny holes in them. They saved me about 35% on the oil change vs the dealership and there was no charge for fixing the seat belt. 5* ++++

Excellent service. Why pay those expensive dealer fees for servicing your Mercedes Benz, if you can go to A&R German Motors and pay a fraction? You still get your German vehicle with high quality service... and you are just not paying an expensive showroom’s overhead.
