So happy that I tried this place for the Mercedes I just bought. I thought their prices were fair and they fixed a couple of things for me that I didn't even ask for. Owners are respectful and communicate well. I will definitely use them again. So happy that I also got a car wash that wasn't obviously going to happen considering the location and space constraints. Don't know how they did it! Follow up. I dropped by the other day because I was in the neighborhood and my headlight went out. They popped in a new one in 2 seconds and charged me $10. I'm so happy! I have actually been to mechanics before who have tried to charge me labor on replacing a headlight lamp. These guys are not like that.

Ralph has been maintaining and repairing my 1998 Mercedes for 18 years and he is outstanding. He's extremely knowledgeable, professional, and HONEST. When it's time for me to buy my next car I plan to get a Mercedes so I continue to work with him.

Had a great experience! I have a 2005 C230 Kompressor and need annual servicing. I used to go to other service shops but found that they overpriced and underdelivered the service. A & R was a referral and they did a great job at a reasonable price. A & R are now my go to for all things C230 related.

I was referred here from a local Body Shop who didn't do mechanical work and Allen helped me out. Allen was awesome and did the usual stuff like showing me what else could be wrong. He replaced I coolant reservoir that I have essentially been stealing with epoxy for the past two years, they really did a great job! Regardless, the most important things for people who don't have a general overall knowledge of what happens under the hood of their cars are price and timeliness. I definitely feel like I was charged a fair price for the work that I was done, not unreasonably lower than other places, just comprable. The timeliness was even better though! I brought my car in for an estimate one day, it was dropped off for work the next morning and picked up that afternoon. Allen also was awesome enough to show me additional parts I could probably buy and fix on my own, and I was super appreciative for the help. when I went to check out, they gave me a discount but I didn't know existed and didn't ask for as a new client, which was awesome! And I even received a little certificate for 10% off of my next work in the mail shortly after. This place is walkable distance pretty much everywhere in Hermosa so I also love that I don't have to organize getting rides back and forth!

These guys are top notch professionals. 2 years ago my Mercedes Benz E350 broke down as I was traveling through Hermosa Beach and my normal service shop was in Santa Monica. I was going to have my car towed back to Santa Monica but after calling A&R German Motors and speaking with the owner, he made me feel confident that not only could they fix what turned out to be a pretty major mechanical problem, but more importantly I would get an honest and transparent evaluation of the repairs and cost. You know the how things can be when you break down in unfamiliar territory and don't know anybody who can refer you to the most reputable place to spend your hard earned money and not get scammed. I've been driving the top of the line Mercedes Benz S Class cars for 18 years and I must say the personal attention and confidence I felt leaving my car with my service guy at the dealership, I felt the same with the owner at A&R. They did an excellent job and even save me some money as the repairs would have cost me more if I had it done in Santa Monica. Thank you for your integrity and first class service repair!
