Awesome Quality !!!!! I can't trust anyone else to fix high vehicles :) Ask for Ralph when you get there and he'll take care of you. Every car part they own and buy is OEM so don't worry about recieving aftermarket parts when they go under your hood. Also, they have all the computers and technology Required to fix high end vehicles. Most mechanics don't have the updated software to keep up with all the new updated vehicles (which they won't tell you) because it's incredibly expensive to maintain since there's an update at least once a year. But A & R German Motors pays the cost to provide the best service and I truly appreciate their integrity and work ethic. I moved to Orange County and tried to find a new mechanic out here and they put Aftermarket parts on my Mercedes :( and they still charged me full price - so I learned my lesson and I drive to Hermosa Beach everytime I need a repair because their honesty and quality is WORTH it :) "10 Stars"

Took my BMW in for an oil change and to troubleshoot a check engine light. Alan found the problem (engine coils) and recommended I replace the spark plugs since I was near the service interval. Fair price and prompt service. A&R is my goto independent from now on! Very happy I found them.

I came to A&R after getting an extremely high quote from the South Bay Mini for some maintenance issues after my 2009 MINI convertible S was out of warranty. Ralph was nice, polite, informative and laid back, which is great when you don’t know much about cars. Most importantly, he gave me quotes for the repairs the dealer had itemized which turned out to be about $1000 less! One of the individual items was a little bit higher and two items were about the same price, but everything else was substantially less (especially with the super discounted labor costs - for a couple of things he charged zero for labor) and he even gave me a new customer discount on top of that. They even fixed a rattle that I hadn’t noticed for free and gave me quotes for some non-urgent things for the future. They did all the repairs in ONE day and even washed my car before I picked it up. I have every intention of going to Ralph and A&R for repairs in the future, as they seem very honest and trustworthy, keep a clean and orderly shop, and are a small local business to boot. I am so glad I decided to reject the path of least resistance and just give my car back to the dealer. Highly recommend bringing your MINI here.
