Ralph quoted me a price for a new battery and installed it in a timely manner and at a fair price!

I came to A&R after getting an extremely high quote from the South Bay Mini for some maintenance issues after my 2009 MINI convertible S was out of warranty. Ralph was nice, polite, informative and laid back, which is great when you don’t know much about cars. Most importantly, he gave me quotes for the repairs the dealer had itemized which turned out to be about $1000 less! One of the individual items was a little bit higher and two items were about the same price, but everything else was substantially less (especially with the super discounted labor costs - for a couple of things he charged zero for labor) and he even gave me a new customer discount on top of that. They even fixed a rattle that I hadn’t noticed for free and gave me quotes for some non-urgent things for the future. They did all the repairs in ONE day and even washed my car before I picked it up. I have every intention of going to Ralph and A&R for repairs in the future, as they seem very honest and trustworthy, keep a clean and orderly shop, and are a small local business to boot. I really recommend going to see Allen and Ralph at A&R German Motors. I brought my BMW in because it needed service on my headlight and also needed new windshield wipers. They fixed it right up and didn’t take long at all. I can’t say enough on how much I like this place. It’s a gem. Very professional, very reasonable priced (saved tons of money) and friendly service. These guys are great. Alan and Ralph are both friendly, helpful and, honest. Their prices are very reasonable. During the beginning of the pandemic I had starting issues, thought it might get be something other than the battery. But they said let’s just charge the battery and see. Could have charged me for a number of things when business was in lockdown, but took care of the battery charge for free. They have done a lot of great work over the couple years I’ve been using them.

Replaced SOS Emergency Call battery of my car. Over 30% cheaper than dealer service. Scheduled for the service for an half day. Checked in 9:30 am and checked out 2 pm. Very professional. So happy for their friendly service. I highly recommend.
